If you haven’t yet registered for our International Conference on Business Incubation, you are missing out! Our international conference has been an InBIA staple event for over 30 YEARS. We’ve had entrepreneurship centers from over 40 countries attend while partnering with companies like Hubspot, Staples, UPS, Turnstone, Entrepreneur TV and many others to bring the latest in entrepreneurial ecosystem building to our attendees. 2017’s theme is all about “Building Thriving Entrepreneurial Ecosystems,” and we’ve designed an impactful and interactive conference experience unlike anything before.
Happening in Seattle, WA from March 25 – 29, globally influential keynote speakers will take stage and discuss innovative practices in business incubation and showcase trending topics happening within the entrepreneurial landscape. We’ve also gathered 40+ session speakers who will be engaging in an interactive dialogue ranging from topics anywhere from how to leverage social media for your entrepreneurship center, courting corporates, how to build sustainable SMEs in the developing world, global strategies for business innovation leaders, kick-starting youth entrepreneurship on campus, overcoming the high cost of developing kitchen incubators and many more diverse topics.
Also happening at the 2017 conference is the Business Incubation Global (BIG) Summit. We’re partnering with the European Union and the U.S. State Department to bring together global entrepreneurial ecosystem leaders who will be sharing insights for accelerating entrepreneurship centers through international alliances. During this summit, the U.S. State Department will run its Sister to Sister matchmaking program, through which attendees will be matched with international organizations to create key partnerships and collaborations to help startups expand into foreign markets.
Our goal is to enhance international collaboration, engage in collaborative dialogue with international leaders and draft new partnership plans while identifying potential areas of partnership with other small business assistance centers in the Western Hemisphere.
