Frequently Asked Questions
What precautions is InBIA taking to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus?
All attendees of the e.Builders Forum have to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or of a negative test in the 72 hours before the start of the event. The event venue, the Ohio Union, is located on the campus of Ohio State University, which currently requires everyone to wear masks indoors. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates to our policies and procedures as appropriate.
What is the session format?
The Monday morning workshops will involve a mix of instruction, discussion, activities, template/resource review and other techniques appropriate for adult learners. On Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday there will be discussion sessions featuring 30-45 minutes of presentation followed by 45-60 minutes of Q&A, experience sharing and discussion.
Are there options to participate virtually?
Yes! You can purchase a virtual ticket for the e.Builders Forum to participate in the hybrid version of the event. Hybrid sessions will offer the opportunity to join via Zoom and have discussions with other virtual participants. See the agenda page for more information.
What airport should I fly into?
The John Glenn Columbus International Airport offers flights through most carriers and is approximately 15 minutes from the event venue.
Where should I stay?
InBIA has negotiated a special rate with the Blackwell Inn – find more information and the reservations link on the hotel page.
What is the dress code?
We do not have an official dress code, but InBIA event attendees tend to wear business casual attire. The weather in Ohio at the end of October is variable – plan to bring layers to ensure comfort.
