Our Mission

InBIA’s mission is to empower entrepreneur support organizations by creating an impactful community through comprehensive resources, training and thought leadership.

Who We Serve

InBIA is a global professional community for those who work in entrepreneurship support, including staff, economic development practitioners, ecosystem builders, university faculty and staff, and consultants. We also represent a strong network of mentors, partners, influencers, and ecosystem builders.

Connected Community
InBIA members are part of a global community of people who are working to help entrepreneurs thrive. They connect in various ways: through the virtual platform, I-Connect, where members post questions and share ideas, and through meetings of communities of practice, and at our in-person gatherings throughout the year.

Professional Development
Since 2006, InBIA has offered entrepreneur support professionals the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and a professional credential through the Entrepreneurship Center Management Certificate Program, a comprehensive curriculum that covers all the essentials of running an efficient and impactful ESO. InBIA also offers other professional learning opportunities year-round.
International Opportunities
Our Soft Landings designation provides visibility, grant opportunities, and connections to ESOs that have developed programs to serve foreign companies entering the US market. Past opportunities have included the La Idea Incubator Project funded by the U.S. Department of State and other efforts in Europe.
