Professional Bio

Jean-Christophe is Descartes Development and Innovation CEO. DDI is an association, technopole of the sustainable city centre of excellence in Marne-la-Vallée (Paris region), Cité Descartes. DDI also operates an incubator, a Fablab and a French Tech Community.

Specialist in coaching start-ups, deeptech, launching and implementing services to stimulate entrepreneurship and business development at national and international level, he is involved in several European networks, and holds a double degree business / engineer.

Jean-Christophe has previously held positions as principal consultant for the engineering group Assystem UK, SME coordinator for the European Space Agency, expert in research valorisation and venture capital for European Commission funded projects, innovation business manager at ANVAR (formerly Bpifrance), and export manager in a startup.
